Ode to a monkey

Up high in a tree on the toppermost branch
A monkey stood high, observing his ranch
He thought to himself, "well what have we here...?"
For he could see a cow and a steer
Who were both drink drinking from a river
downwards he swung, his heart all a quiver
As he approached, more confused he became
As all of a sudden his leg went quite lame
"Oh what can I do?!" I heard him shout out
Then from out of the river, came a mystic trout.
"I bring you a quest, which you must accept..."
But the monkey instead chose the quest to reject,
So for speaking like yoda the trout gave him AIDS
So he died, thus ending this poem with it neither rhyming, nor scanning properly.

The Fish

I wish, I wish I was a fish
and could make caviar, a tasty dish
which I could sell, and make much cash
And grow a rather big moustache,
which I would comb to make it bushy
and remove the peas there that were mushy
but as much as I comb they will not dislodge
they would just form a great big splodge
which have to be cleaned out with a sponge
And into the sea it would probably plunge,
Leaving my 'tache all shiny and clean
I'd be the oddest fish you'd ever seen
